ohsotired
So it's almost 4:00am and I have survived my "four hour" point of hanging out at the good ol' Vancouver Airport. I only have to wait a few more hours and then I will "almost" be home... oh wait no, I have to catch the 6:30am ferry (which I will probably miss), which basically sets me back until the next ferry at 8:00am... then I will take the 8:00am ferry to make it home by 9:30... but wait, then I have to get from the ferry to school for a 10:00am class (which I will probably miss) ONLY to have me go home, shower, eat, and catch the bus from home at around noon for a class at 1:00 - 2:30. But the BEST part of this entire day is that I have 12 hours left before I can cuddle up in bed and sleep only to wake up to 2387235 hours of homework. To the point... I wish you really did listen to me in the car.

Life s...
Life sucks so much right now. This spring break I will learn from my mistakes, and be forced to grow (accept?) the ordeals. I wish Hip Hop Harry wasn't on so late. It's seriously fucked up my sleep/living patterns. I remember growing up to Sesame Street, and my sister grew up on Barney, and both of those have nothing on Hip Hop Harry.

Three plane t...
Three plane trips... one at the end of this month, one in March and one in late April - Mom, career and school. It almost makes sense to me - family, money and completion. Looking at the earth and the water, the turquoise, russet and emerald...makes me sick of travelling.L.A. is not the city for me... leaving me to decide what is? I truly believe a city helps define who we are, but too bad for me, I am more mysterious than an Aztec temple!Bedtime and then back to square1. I really thought I was 'doing okay' this week but everything I wanted to get done, every book I wanted to read, every box I wanted to unpack is sitting right where I left off.

It depresses me to see you struggle!
Since everyone seems to have love on their lips or tissues filled with tears, I am going to tell you all about Marina Abramovic and her husband Ulay.In 1975 Abramovic met Ulay, an artist who shared her date of birth as well as her artistic concerns. Over the next two decades they lived and collaborated together, performing and traveling extensively. In one, Breathing In/Breathing Out (1977), with their mouths clamped tightly together and microphones taped to their throats, Abramovic and Ulay breathed in turn the air from each other's lungs, until - almost to the point of suffocation - they were exchanging only carbon dioxide. In another, Rest Energy (1980), they held a taut bow with an arrow loaded and pointing at Abramovic's heart, with only the weight of their bodies maintaining the tension. Microphones recorded their rapidly accelerating heartbeats. In Rhythm 0, perhaps Abramovic's most infamous performance, she asked her audience to use various items —72 items she provided: pen, scissors, chains, axe, loaded pistol, and others.— on her however they wished and would not be held accountable; according to one report: 'By the third hour, her clothes had been cut from her body with razor blades, her skin slashed; a loaded gun held to her head finally caused a fight between her tormentors, bringing the proceeding to an unnerving halt. The Great Wall Walk (1988), which entailed each walking 2,000 km along the Great Wall of China, had Abramovic and Ulay starting at opposite ends and meeting in the middle. What did they do once they met in the middle? They happily ended their relationship.
